Description
The selection utility is used to select objects with certain parameters.
Commands
The Selection utility command opens the Selection utility.
The basic selection parameters are Type and Layer.
By clicking the Advanced button, other selection parameters become accessible, which are Text, for GeoticText or GeoticMultitext type objects, Block, for Insertion type objects, Section,
and Interpretation.
You can choose How to apply the parameters to the selection by activating the appropriate
option, either to Add to the selection, which adds the the objects of the current document
corresponding to the selection parameters to the selection, or to Remove them from the
selection.
To start a new selection, click the New selection button.
Remarks
Even if the advanced selection parameters are hidden, they are still taken in account while
performing a selection.
The Section and Interpretation selection parameters are only available if the current file is a
section file compatible with GeoticCAD.
