Description
The clips manager is used to create clips to see only a "slice" of the drawing.
Commands
The Clips command opens the Clips manager.
You can create a New clip.
You must choose the Coordinate system and define the Name, the Clip type, the Position,
and the Clipping distance. If the Clip type is "Custom", the clip must be made in the current
coordinate system, you must define its Position and its Direction on screen by clicking the Define button. If you are in the Plot system, you can also choose the Clip type "Section". By
default, the clip will have the same name and the same clipping distances as the selected
section.
You can also Rename, Delete, or Active a clip. You can also change the Status by clicking
on the appropriate characteristic.
Remarks
You can only activate one clip at a time (lit bulb) and that clip is obligatorily defined in the
current coordinate system.
The Clips command is only available if the current file is a section file compatible with
GeoticCAD.
The creation doesn't take the position of the sections in account, but really their name in the
duplication verification.
